HOSTESS/SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Are you personable, proactive, and passionate about helping others feel welcome? Our company seeks a mature, friendly and professional Hostess/Sales Representative to welcome customers and assist in the sale of our products. 

Job Duties:

• Warmly greet and welcome customers as they enter the store
• Identify customer needs and promptly direct them to the appropriate sales representative
• Provide product information and assist with sales as needed
• Represent our company’s products and services (Windows, Doors, Tiles, etc.), starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
• Maintain working relationships with existing clients to add value and drive sales
• Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
• Possess in-depth product knowledge
• Conduct regular follow-up to ensure that orders are processed on time and customers are satisfied with service
• Ensure prompt follow-up on any commitment made during customer contact
• Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, and other documentation as required for management
• Assist with inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner.

Skills and Educational Requirements:

• Customer-oriented with a cheerful and professional demeanor
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of sales experience in consumer products
• Ideal applicants will be 30 years or older
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
• A commitment to excellent customer service
• Proficiency with sales management software and Microsoft Office
• Highly motivated, energetic, and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities
