WAREHOUSE DELIVERY TRUCK DRIVER

We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Truck Driver to join our team. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy delivering excellent service, we’d love to hear from you. In this role, you would be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our trucks to carry out day to day deliveries.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Complete a check list of vehicles.
• Carry out the day-to-day deliveries internationally, locally, and to the Family Islands of The Bahamas.
• Ensure all products with associated accessories are placed carefully/safely on the truck and on the customer’s/recipient’s building/specified area.
• Ensure that the vehicles are kept clean inside daily and that the exterior of the vehicles are washed every other Saturday, as needed.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Deliver items in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that vehicles have the correct amount of fluid daily/gas.
• Check off products for delivery with Warehouse Clerk and Warehouse Assistant before leaving for delivery.

Skills and Educational Requirements:

• Minimum age: 25 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over 2 years of truck driving experience.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Defensive Driving Skills.
• Excellent communication skills to assist and interact with customers.
• Well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Good physical condition to lift items.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
