TRUCK DRIVER

A vacancy exists in the Company for a Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate our trucks with the responsibility of carrying out day to day deliveries.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Complete a check list of vehicles.
• Carry out the day-to-day deliveries internationally, locally, and to the Family Islands of The Bahamas.
• Ensure all products with associated accessories are placed carefully/safely on the truck and on the customer’s/recipient’s building/specified area.
• Ensure that the vehicles are kept clean inside daily and that the exterior of the vehicles are washed every other Saturday, as needed.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Deliver items in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that vehicles have the correct amount of fluid daily/gas.
• Check off products for delivery with Warehouse Clerk, Warehouse Checker, and Warehouse Security before leaving for delivery.

Truck Driver Skills and Degree Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Aged 25 years or older with at least one year of truck driving experience.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Defensive Driving Skills.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Good physical condition.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication.
